Proper Attire for Commencement
Students should dress appropriately for this special occasion. Please use the following guidelines: Caps and gowns must be worn and should not be altered in any way. Families should also refrain from bringing anything that would distract from the ceremony.

iPad Information
Seniors who have attended Glenbard South for all 4 years, have paid their annual iPad rental payments, and have no outstanding obligations will own their device, charger, and case upon graduation. Total control of the device will be turned over to students when all transcripts are finalized (typically late June/July). At that time, students will lose access to Glenbard paid apps/les and their Glenbard Apple ID. Families can check their fee balance by using the parent PowerSchool login or by contacting the Student Services office. If obligations are not resolved, the iPad will be disabled. If the iPad requires a buyout purchase (rented less than 4 years) students may pay the buyout or return the iPad at the end of the year. Please visit the Technology Help Desk in the Library with any questions regarding iPads.

Financial Obligations
All financial obligations should be resolved in order to receive your cap and gown and tickets for the Commencement Ceremony. All families will be notied in advance in order to resolve any obligation. Please contact Mr. Joe Sikes ([email protected]) or phone at (630)469-9100 Ext. 5120, District Bookkeeper, with questions about specic nancial obligations.

Google Drive Transfer
BEFORE Commencement on May 21, students need to take steps to save anything they would like to keep from Schoology, their iPad, or Google Drive. In addition, there are some steps students should take to save Google Drive les to their personal Gmail account or download them for use with another service. This process is done through Google Takeout. Please read the Takeout instructions carefully. After May 21, we will not be able to reopen accounts or retrieve les/emails, and students will no longer have access to GMail, Schoology, Notability, or Google Drive. DON’T WAIT! Back up all important les before May 21.
