The ACT is required by most state supported colleges and universities, and is accepted by all four-year colleges and universitites in the United States.

To register for the ACT online, find more information or take a practice test; go to www.actstudent.org.

Glenbard South will be a Test Center for the ACT on April 14, 2012.
The test center code for Glenbard South is 5552.  See the ACT website for other test locations.

Juniors at Glenbard South take the ACT on April 24, 2012 as part of the Prairie State Exam. This is not a National ACT testing date, but scores can be sent to colleges, universities and the NCAA. There is no cost to the students for the Prairie State Exam. The exam will not include the Writing portion. Students will register for this exam during school as part of a regularly scheduled class.

College-bound juniors are recommended to take the February, April, or June test.  These are also the qualifying test dates for the Illinois State Scholar Program.  To be considered as a State Scholar:  complete the Online Registration or the Registration Folder - your score will be automatically sent to ISSC if you are an Illinois State resident and answer “yes” to the Resident of This State portion of the registration form.
