1. INTRODUCTION: CREATING AND EDITING PAGES IN RWD

Unlike previous practice, there is no longer a need for software or FTP clients when creating teacher web pages. All teacher web page creation and editing can be done within the FirstClass client software!

jsouth.pngYou will notice a new icon on your FirstClass Desktop. This icon is the Rapid Web Developer area where you can edit and create web pages. Do not delete this icon!

You must have the CLIENT SOFTWARE installed on your computer in order to create and edit RWD pages.
Do not log in through the web version (www.glenbard.org).
The software is available for download at www.glenbard.org.
Please make sure to download and configure it if you're using a personal/home computer.

2. YOUR TEACHER WEB PAGE

The URL (web address) for your site will be:
http://www.glenbardsouthhs.org/Teachers/YourLastName
(Ex: http://www.glenbardsouthhs.org/Teachers/Smith)

If you share a last name with another teacher in the building, you may have a variation (Mr_Smith or RSmith) in your URL. Just look at what your web icon is named to see what the end of your URL is.

When you complete your site, it will be linked from your name in the Staff Directory. Please e-mail your building web liason when you are ready to have your site linked.

You can also enter the URL for your site in your Class Info area of PowerSchool:
