The Glenbard South CAC meetings are open to all parents, staff, and residents in the attendance area.
Guidelines for CAC meetings: Attendees are expected to refrain from discussing any individual or attempting to solve his/her own child's particular problem during all CAC meetings. A climate of respectful dialogue will be maintained.

Purpose
The purpose of the Council is to provide a means for eliciting the views of parents, administration, staff and residents of the Glenbard South attendance area on the operation of the school and/or policies affecting academic and student affairs. The Council shall serve in an advisory capacity only, with the responsibility for any action stemming from the Councils recommendation resting with the administration.
Functions
- Increase two-way communication between the school and community. - Serve as a study group for specific topics or projects as determined by the Principal and the Council. - Make recommendations to the Principal and/or Superintendent through the Principal when deemed appropriate by the Citizens Advisory Council.
